Withdrawal Information & Instructions
For direct sales, piano purchases, repairs and services concluded outside our WooCommerce online shop.
Version: October 2026
This page provides information for consumers entering into contracts directly with Reinert GmbH & Co. KG outside our WooCommerce online shop. For orders placed through our online shop, the separate withdrawal information provided there applies.
1. When Does a Right of Withdrawal Apply?
Consumers generally have a statutory right to withdraw from eligible distance contracts, including contracts concluded by telephone or email, and contracts concluded away from our business premises.
Contracts concluded in person at our business premises do not generally give rise to a statutory right of withdrawal solely because of the way the contract was concluded.
The existence of a withdrawal right depends on the type of contract and any applicable statutory exceptions.
2. Withdrawal Instructions for Goods
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire fourteen days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us:
Reinert GmbH & Co. KG
Schuraer Str. 23
78554 Aldingen
Germany
Phone: +49 7424 84404
Email: info@reinert-piano.de
of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email.
You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, except for any supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us.
We shall make the reimbursement without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw.
We shall use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever occurs first.
You must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after the day on which you communicate your withdrawal.
You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods where you have been properly informed of this obligation before entering into the contract.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
3. Goods Delivered in Separate Shipments
If several goods ordered under a single contract are delivered separately, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the last item.
The applicable withdrawal instructions provided for the individual contract shall determine the relevant starting date.
4. Bulky Upright and Grand Pianos
Upright and grand pianos cannot normally be returned by ordinary post. Professional transportation is required.
Where legally permissible and properly disclosed before conclusion of the contract, the customer bears the direct cost of returning the instrument.
The estimated return transportation costs will be stated in the individual contract documentation before the contract is concluded.
The customer may arrange suitable professional transportation or commission Reinert to arrange it.
If Reinert arranges and pays for the return transportation at the customer’s request, the agreed and legally recoverable return transportation costs may be settled separately or offset against the reimbursement where legally permissible.
The statutory obligation to reimburse the cost of the least expensive standard delivery originally offered remains unaffected.
Where an off-premises contract is withdrawn and the statutory conditions requiring Reinert to collect goods at its own expense are met, Reinert will arrange and pay for collection.
5. Withdrawal Instructions for Services
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire fourteen days after the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform Reinert GmbH & Co. KG at the postal address or email address stated above by an unequivocal statement.
You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after receiving your withdrawal notice.
We shall use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any reimbursement fees.
If you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you may be required to pay an amount proportionate to the services already performed up to the time you inform us of your withdrawal, provided the statutory requirements for such payment have been satisfied.
6. Services Performed Before the Withdrawal Period Expires
Where a consumer requests piano tuning, maintenance, repairs or other services to begin before the withdrawal period expires, Reinert will obtain the declarations required by applicable law.
The right of withdrawal may expire following full performance of a service only where all statutory conditions have been met.
Certain urgent repair or maintenance services specifically requested by the consumer may be subject to statutory exceptions.
7. Individually Manufactured RR Janko® Products
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to goods that are not prefabricated and are manufactured on the basis of an individual choice or decision by the consumer, or that are clearly personalized to the consumer’s requirements, where the applicable statutory conditions are satisfied.
This may apply to certain individually manufactured RR Janko® keys, customized kits or specially modified keyboards.
However, manufacturing a standard product only after an order has been placed does not automatically exclude the right of withdrawal.
Any applicable statutory exclusion will be identified in the individual contractual information before the contract is concluded.
8. Model Withdrawal Form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from an eligible contract.
