A. Instructions for cancellation

Introduction

Consumers, i.e. any individual acting for purposes which are wholly or mainly outside that individual’s trade, business, craft or profession, are entitled to cancel any contract under the following conditions:

Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Reinert GmbH & Co. KG, Schuraer Strasse 23, 78554 Aldingen, Germany, Phone.: 07424-84404, e-mail: info@reinert-piano.de) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of standard delivery (except for supplementary costs arising if you choose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us) without undue delay and not later than fourteen days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

Products may be carefully inspected and tested as necessary to determine their nature, characteristics and function.

The customer is liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for such inspection and testing, including visible signs of wear, damage, excessive use, modifications, missing parts or other conditions impairing resale.

RR Janko® Keyboards and installation kits may be removed and reinstalled when handled carefully. However, returned products must not show excessive signs of use, damage, modifications or significant wear that would impair resale.

Damage caused by improper installation, modification or handling is excluded from reimbursement.

Refunds may be reduced accordingly after inspection of the returned goods.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. International return shipping costs may vary significantly depending on destination, package dimensions and shipping provider.

International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance charges and proper customs declaration.

We strongly recommend insured and trackable return shipping.

Returns should be approved by us in writing before shipment in order to ensure correct handling and customs processing.

Unpaid shipments or returns with insufficient customs declaration may be refused.

Exclusion and/or premature expiration of the right to cancel

The right to cancel is excluded for contracts for the supply of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications, clearly personalized, custom-made or modified according to customer requirements, including custom-configured RR Janko® Keyboards.

This includes products manufactured, assembled, configured or modified according to customer-selected options or specifications.

Production of custom-made or modified products may begin immediately after order confirmation.
