This product is based on an original keyboard of the Midiplus X Series III, professionally modified by Reinert-Piano with RR Janko® Slim-Keys. Reinert-Piano is an independent manufacturer. There is no affiliation with the original brand.
Special Advantages of our RR Janko® Slim Keys
- The narrow 4-row arrangement of the RR Janko® Keys promotes an ergonomic hand position.
- Unlike the original Janko keyboard, each key is fully accessible along its entire length, allowing fingers to remain in a natural extension at all times.
- Adjacent semitones are easily accessible without shifting fingers to higher or lower rows.
- The thumb can always be positioned below longer fingers and easily repositioned at any time.
- There is no need to reach down into a “gap” with longer fingers, a common issue on traditional keyboards.
- Replace with precisely crafted 3D-printed keys.
- Available in standard or five-seven Layout
Features and Advantages of the Five-Seven Layout:
- Clear color arrangement in two blocks
- C–E dark, F–B light
- Easy recognition of octaves
- Reduced visual complexity, as color variation occurs only horizontally, not vertically
- Greater clarity, as colors change only once per octave
- Freedom from the strong focus on a single key (C major = white keys on a traditional keyboard), all keys are treated equally
- Greater freedom when improvising and easier key changes
- Preservation of pattern recognition from the traditional piano through the two color blocks: the three dark keys represent C, D, E, and the four light keys represent F, G, A, B
- This allows previously learned piano pieces to be easily transferred to this layout and enables sight-reading

Production time is approximately 15–20 business days. Shipping takes place after completion.
Shipping Cost Notice
The shipping costs shown at checkout are preliminary. For large or high-value items such as RR Janko® Keyboards, the final shipping costs depend on the destination country, package dimensions, weight, insured value and the current rates of the selected carrier.
After your order has been placed, we will calculate the actual shipping costs based on the currently valid shipping rates. Any shipping amount already paid will be credited toward the final shipping cost.
If there is a difference, we will contact you before dispatch. If the final shipping cost is lower, the difference will be refunded or credited. Import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees are not included and are the responsibility of the buyer.
